And they say Lou is only a shooter. If she didn't hustle to get the ball they play wouldn't have happened.

Could watch that over and over again.

If you do...

You will notice that someone on the UConn bench (almost) tackles Lou in her excitement.
And Ms Laksa doesn't exactly kill herself getting back to cover Kia

She was already frustrated with the way the game was going.

how could you not enjoy this... even if you're a fan of another school!

Textbook hustle by all, even the bench! This video should be sent to every basketball player in America

Has anyone said these kids are good? 'Cause they should!

but it looks like a picture... not a video, people need to "press on the picture to see the action.

I don't think anyone continues to say Lou is only a shooter and if they do they have not been following UCONN basketball. Anyone who has been watching her the past season and a half knows she is much more.

Yup, a whole lot more than a shooter. On the very next play, Lou stole the ball again and it rotated to her and she drained a 3....

This was a jaw-dropping and absolutely amazing 7 second sequence (yes, only 7 seconds). Each player touches the ball, each making a really good to exceptional basketball play. The 5 players work in perfect coordination. 7 seconds from the opponent shooting until we score. A block, an out of bounds save, 2 passes, and a contested shot and score. Even if it had been carefully choreographed in advance, it is hard to imagine it looking more elegant than it did within the flow of that game. I rewound the DVR and watched it several times earlier. Beauty in motion!! Perfectly summarizes why I watch this team. Nice OP, Connie!!

This play is an excellent example of why the "matchup" is so one-sided. One team, way more athletic to begin with, is busting it full bore, while the other transitions from offense to defense very slowly and shows zero urgency getting back, followed by shoulder-drooping frustration at the almost inevitable result.

Saw them play in person against each other twice last year, at XL Center (win 90, I recall) and AAC Tournament at Mohegan Sun. Noticed that the difference in speed and intensity between the teams is night and day. There will be nights against other (slower) teams when USF will look good, they do have skills, but we are a horrendous matchup for them.

Love how all five of our players were involved in this play and yet none had possession for more than a second or two.
