I've avoided jumping on any band wagons over the past five years with Tiger Woods, but he may have spit the bit today.

For his entire life he was the rarest of professional athletes. Output always equaled or exceeded input. He was a hard worker and he reaped the rewards. For all but the greatest that doesn't happen. You work your tail off, you do everything you can to succeed and most times the results are less than the effort. The drive to work and improve in the faces of less than expected results is one of the hardest things for all humans to do regardless of career field.

How does this relate to UConn hoops? Not sure. But I'm confident that KO and his staff are reminding the players that last year's record isn't a definitive statement in to the work they put in to the season. Sometimes working your tail off results in failure. You still have to wake up and look yourself in the mirror and your teammates eye to eye.
