St. Mary's goes to 22-1 with a 87-19 win over Hayden High....61-3 at the half...yikes!
Couldn't find individual stats.

If you get NESN UHart tangles with BU today on TV at noon. BU tends to be one of the best teams in the conference....they routed St. John's earlier this year.

D3 showdown: Unbeaten Tufts plays at unbeaten Amherst in Amherst. Tufts is national #5...Amherst #4. Tufts leads the nation in defense...42.5 per game. Amherst has won 76 in a row
at home. Go Carla!

I remember reading somewhere that St. Mary 's doe not keep individual stats to emphasize on team. If there were stats, they are not from them.

I'm pretty sure that Hayden either had a lot of TOs or a low shooting percentage in the first half. :)

I thought UHart looked awful today. They were out hussled and outplayed. I have really been disappointed in the effort that the Hawks have put out in the last few years. I think if Jen is truly interested in moving up I think she should consider leaving while she is still an upcomer. I think her upside was about 3 Years ago. I really wish she would have gone to another school where her top recruiter wasn't her husband. I used to go to Chase but their effort isn't there the last few yrs.

Some folks just assume that Jen is next in line to coach at UCONN. I'm in the minority in that I agree with you and I'm not sure she's the right choice - it's difficult at best to judge how good a coach and recruiter she is since she's never recruited a top 50 kid to Hartford - not ever. The only top level kids she's coached were the team USA - and i think those kids were all in HS. I believe she needs to go to a higher profile school.

Tonya hasn't made a splash at all at Temple. Dawn Staley had much more success there. Jamelle seems like she'll always struggle to get any top level talent to Cinci. Glad we have Geno for at least 5 more years so we won't have to really have a serious discussion about his successor for a while...

Amherst did win that D3 showdown....54-48. Tied at the half.
Amherst has made a couple of D3 final fours recently....I don't know whether they have won the ring.
I would kinda expect that Tufts and Amherst might meet in a final 8 game when the tournament starts..
I figure homecourt was big in this one.
