Who on this team would start for any other team in the conference?
Davis, Phillips and Smallwood for almost any team.
Christian for Temple and Cincy.
Anyone else?
 
Even in our good years, we made Temple look good.

Today they're Alabama. How far we have fallen.

Hahaha, I am literally laughing out loud right now. Completely awful.
 
We should just forfeit. This is beyond awful. smh. This team looks like it doesn't even practice.
 
I just can't put into words what is happening in front of my own eyes. The announcer saying things like, "A rare completion for the UConn QB"....halfway into the second quarter. A punt for -9 yards. A defense that cannot tackle. Wow. Just...wow...

Anybody who doesn't think this is on the coaching is crazy. Offensive game plan is terrible. We can run, but we try to force the passing. Instead of easy passes, we try difficult passes. Defensive schemes are terrible with no speed attacking a speed QB.
 
21 - 0. UCONN is no longer even pretending to be a college team. We can dis the AAC but UCONN is the worst team in the conference, by a long shot. Thanks PP and GDL.

I agree 100% I cannot believe someone on this board (ain't saying no names) loves this guys defense... Smh!!!

I also cannot believe that we're losing 21-0 to TEMPLE! WTF!
 
I quit. This is a very very bad team. Can't wait to all the coaches are let go. Play calling is horrible. Defense is bad. Glad BB season is here. See you next year.

Clearly the coaching is bad. But plays like the punt just show that the kids don't execute either. It's really sad.

No they don't. We try to run misdirection with no speed when our power run is working. We try to throw lobs down the filed instead of slants and outs. QB never runs. Very easy to defend our offense!
 
It's hard to feel that we can come back from a 21-0 deficit, when 7 points feels like a mountain to climb. Good God. I'll still keep watching and hoping, because maybe Tate George will go on the field and hit a miracle shot or something...
 
I will not even try to invite anyone to the last two remaining games. Our games should not be viewed by potential future season ticket holders. Watching this product will turn anyone off for good.

As an side, these guys look too fat on the lines. They're slow. Matador blocks all day. Defense same thing.

If you think someone is going to walk in and fix this mess in less than 3 years, I have no idea what you are watching. This team is almost impossibly bad.

Just watch them on specials. This team would get blown out playing in the Colonial.

Best case scenario is that Tate George runs a 50-50 raffle and all 100% goes to the fund to hire someone.
 
The Hank Hughes defense not like the UCONN defenses of old. Now the strategy is either to hope the qb overthrows the receiver or they drop it. Occasionly it works, usually it doesn't. Can anyone else remember when the defense once scored?
