now that MD has lost its starting QB they are assured of sucking again. This means less tickets sold and thus less revenue. They are now more likely to accept an offer to go to the Big 10 to get more dough.

I think this constitutes a reprieve, or better yet, a Godsend. Now, no one can fault HCRE for a poor outcome this season. Lost both QB's, but made heroic efforts on the field. Team pulls together, beats UM again, upsets someone. This buys him at least two more years. Surprised Nebrich doesn't transfer in . . . .
