ECU has a solid football program and draw close to 50K per game. Last year they beat Va Tech 28-21, North Carolina 70-41. They also lost close games to South Carolina 33-23 and Florida 28-20 of the SEC. In 2013 they again beat North Carolina 55-31 as well as NC State 42-28. They lost a close one to VA Tech 15-10.
I went to the UCONN ECU game in Greenville last year (31-21 UCONN loss) and was impressed with the stadium. ECU's facilities rival UCONN's which are also highly rated. Say what you want about the American but their are some tough up and coming programs in this conference. UCONN plays them at the Rent on 10/30 this year.
