She's consistently good. She's won POM 8 times in her career, the most of anyone in the league. She's consistently great.

Stewie is having one of the best rookie seasons ever, comparable to Candace Parker's MVP rookie season.

From the account of last night's game against the USA Select Team:

"The two sides went back and forth in the waning moments, but it was the National Team that scored the final six points of the game. National Team forward Breanna Stewart made three crucial baskets down the stretch, including the tying layup with a minute to go before [Maya] Moore knocked down four clutch free throws to seal the victory."

I look for Stewie to be a matchup nightmare in Rio. She was a little out of her element in Istanbul, but she's much stronger, more experienced, and WAAAAY better now.
