I don't think people realize how bad you have to be to finish under .500 for a full season. Remember the 06-07 season, where we had all freshman and one sophomore? And we didn't even get invited to the NIT? That team was 17-14. Now way with Shabazz, Boatright, Roscoe, and Omar do we finish under .500 next season.

What does it matter how good we are next year if we can't compete in the tournament. As Pitt has figured out time and time again, no one cares what you do in the regular season.
