Got it yesterday - my son and I played last night (to re-enact the bowl game he played as UNC and I played as UCONN) - I scored 2x in the 4th and closed it out with a TD with 10 seconds to go to win (Fagnano to Bell).

So much fun to play in the real collegiate stadiums - they did a nice job!

How does it compare to last year's version? I really enjoyed NCAA25 but it was also a deeply flawed game in some ways. Least of all having DB's magically turning around and picking you off constantly

I didn't play last year's and haven't played Madden in years either. But there were 8 picks in the game so maybe that is still an issue.

Although - I stopped getting picked off when I started throwing to guys that were actually open - so maybe it was on me. FWIW the UCONN D was pretty staunch.

They made us a little too difficult to get picked off on highly contested deep balls. Playing on heisman mode and I can still hit Skyler Bell for 40 air yards with two guys over him

I was playing in Freshman mode - haven't turned my Xbox on in about 2 years lol - need to get the dexterity back :)

did they give us the white helmets with Block C this year or is it still the Husky logo?

I loved it when it came out and after the first couple patches but then they ruined the game by updating it another dozen times. There was a period where every time I went to play the AI was tweaked and my entire play style needed to change.

I'm skipping 26 until I read about how it plays in like October.

I also read they screwed up the transfer portal. Highly graded graduating seniors show as taking up a roster spot next year, so transfers who care about playing time won't be interested in your team. Hopefully that gets fixed.

Im skipping it until they put it on PC.

I'm torn on whether or not to get it. I have 25 and tbh, it doesn't look like enough of an upgrade to justify spending the cash. Would love to hear from anyone who has both and if they feel it's worth it or to just play 25 and wait another year.

I bought the bundle with Madden - but I haven't owned it for a few years so was worth it to me. Pricey if you bought last year's for sure.

at this pricepoint, you're basically paying an annual subscription to a video game. not an app, not a streaming ecosystem, a single game. Im surprised that that business model has worked well enough for madden and CFB / basketball games - to my eyes it's literally the same thing over and over.

Worth it is relative, but I think it feels significantly different for a yearly sports game.

I found all American way too easy and heisman too hard so I’ve had to try out different slider sets but I like the challenge it’s giving me now. Interceptions I’m throwing a realistic amount, I haven’t thrown any that I thought were bs. Defensively I’m not forcing many at all.

Graphically looks similar but now there’s progressive lighting which is cool seeing the different stadiums at different times of day.

From a UConn perspective thankfully they replaced the let’s go UConn chant with let’s go huskies. Still no Jonathan. While overall the music is better but welcome to the jungle didn’t make it in so that hurts the UConn specific atmospehre

Haven’t made it through my first season yet so only can say a little about recruiting. Big thing is I have wayyy more people in danger of transferring which I know they said they were gonna make the transfer portal much more active this year

OMFG... Was this in game last year?

No it was not. One of the new features this year was bringing back the trophy room and rivalry trophies like the previous games had.

Typically I would agree with you when it comes to sports games, but College Football is different since this is only the 2nd installment since 2014 after they didn't make the game for 10 years due to NIL issues. Because of this, I expect at least the next several iterations to have a noticeable amount of new features that make it worthy of a purchase.
