If we weren't so guard heavy and in definite need of a proven backup at the PF position I would be on board. I would love like an Okafor type. As it stands we have:

Felton/Kidd/Prigioni
Brewer/Smith/Shump/Lil Smith**
Melo/Novak/White
STAT/Copeland**
Chandler/Camby/Thomas

*Partial guaranteed contract. Chris Smith is J.R. Smith's younger brother who played at Louiville last year. I hope he's cut by the start of the season.

**Non guaranteed contract. I actually like Chris Copeland. I wouldn't trust him as the immediate back up to STAT, but he's a solid player who brings energy, can create his own shot, rebounds and plays defense.
