So let's review the tape. The Ohio State DB makes a terrific INT in the end zone to close out the game . But . . . He then decides to run the ball out of the end zone, thereby giving Alabama life and a possible shot at winning (fumble, Bama scoops it up and takes it to the house, Tide wins it in OT).
Catch the ball, son, and take a knee in the end zone. Urban Meyer should have conducted a practice for the defense right after the game covering: taking a knee, 10 other players telling him to get down, etc. Fundamental football even at high school level. Wow, would that play have lived forever had he fumbled and let Bama score.
