Actually its 9. 8 scholarship players and one walk-on. 10 years ago Duke advanced to the Final four out of the Raleigh Region with only 8 players. Vastly different circumstances, but I will keep hope alive.

Very sorry to hear that. That injury is always bad news but with Duke's short roster, this is really bad.

Sorry to read about those damn 3 words again which are the curse of WBB Duke is still a very very good team with Gray and Williams so keep the spirits up!

Terrible news, hate it for her. She had emerged as a good scorer and defender for us... arguably our most talented offensive player. Duke has been fortunate over the years not too have too many players suffer ACL injuries. As Cam mentioned on our board, this is the first ACL injury at Duke since 2003. Shes gonna be impossible to replace, but hope that she has a speedy recovery and comes back strong next season.

In a more positive vain if you get a chance Sunday when Duke plays Maryland watch our Haley Peters. She Is quietly becoming a all conference star quality player and our fans still have not picked up on it due to the spot light on several other players. Love her game,

I quite like Peters, reminds me a bit of Pedersen that was at Stanford.
