I think they will get past Duke, but I think they are very overrated. They are yet to play a team that was ranked at the time of their matchup, and their two most challenging games cane against Michigan and now-ranked Michigan State. They also didn’t have the easiest of times against Georgetown and George Washington.
 
I'm going with the Wolfpack on this one. Duke has not fared well in the OOC games, although their SOS is slightly better than NCS.

Boykin played in the Oregon State game and looked very good after just coming back from her injury.

13 to 5 for NC State? Duke has 4 more votes than I had anticipated :confused:

If State win's .. they will get no credit for beating a Lesser Duke team. If they lose... then they will be labeled as overrated.
 
For folks in New England, the game will be on NESN+ if you get that channel.

NC State off to an 8-0 start...Duke calls timeout. 7:56 left 1st quarter.

Ace Konig has hit two THREEs for NC State.
 
Duke has settled down. Boykin 3 o 3 on THREEs...NC State with 8 turnovers. Blue Devils lead 15-13, end of 1st quarter.
 
After a scoring flurry by Grace Hunter for NC State, Duke comes back. 25-24, Pack...5:00 left 2nd quarter.

4:43 left 3rd quarter...NC State has run out to a 39-31 lead. Frenetic pace...lots of turnovers from both teams (12 apiece.)
 
NC State has started the 2nd half really well, and has pushed out to a 10-point lead with about 2:00 left in 3Q. This team has good chemistry. Especially impressed with Grace Hunter, Kiara Leslie and Aislinn Konig. Duke, meanwhile, has gone cold.
 
Duke ended 3rd quarter on an 8-0 run...43-41, NC State leads, going to the 4th.
