When the player [properly] puts a foot back to begin the drive, it's still almost a 50/50 that the ref will call travel. They're just itching to call it.

I think that Jones is showing that she was underrated coming out of high school. So far, Jones and Jewel Lloyd are the best freshmen I've seen.

This is the least fundamentally sound UConn team since 2004-05.

This is a UCONN team that is not as dominant as everyone thought. Additionally, the freshmen are just not there yet. It's much easier to have an impact against cupcakes than it is to make a mark against a team that plays strong, physical defense.

Don't get me wrong - we are a really good team, but people are beginning to see the reality that 20 point blowouts against top 10 teams just isn't a reality. We're on pace for 24 turnovers this game, and that's not an aberration. It's what we've seen at least the past month...
