The sad part is he probably regrets his choice.
Do you think that when he was down to UConn or Duke and he spent all that time up in Storrs, he had already made up his mind? Especially with the connection with Clingan and his mother. I personally feel that it was a very tough decision for Flagg to make between UConn or Duke, and that being said, regretting his final decision is not as crazy as you make it sound. Especially with UConn going for the 3 peat.I doubt it. He had to know Hurley is light years better at coaching than Scheyer is. He was fulfilling a childhood dream to play for Duke.
So he'll be content having 90% of the offense flow through him, and yeah, maybe he doesn't make it out of the first weekend in March.
He's likely the #1 pick next June anyway.
It's telling he didn't want to put in the effort to be part of a rotation at UConn's level though.
