The purist in me doesn't want to believe that this is some sort of psyche job, but..."Any time you get to play UConn, it is a privilege. UConn is the gold standard of women’s basketball." — Duke Basketball Report, on the 2022 Phil Knight Invitational
Absolutely! And far be it for me toI believe that Duke is on the up swing with Kara at the helm and it should be a good game!
Absolutely! And far be it for me tostarthold a grudge but... This young lady was a UCONN lean before Kara showed up. Now I listen to her gush about Kara and it isnauseating dissapointing.... I can't even find the right words.
You know UConn doesn't schedule basketball games against academically inferior programs.........But, we won’t schedule them on our own.

But I have it on good authority that their grads work at only the best restaurants…You know UConn doesn't schedule basketball games against academically inferior programs.........
Jackson is an "alpha" and not afraid of competition from anyone including Paige or Azzi. Like Kiki Rice she would have been an excellent pickup for UCONN and would have made a UCONN trip to the portal this summer less necessary.Ashlon looks good and I wanted her, but Azzi committed to UConn 2 months before Ashlon announced. I think she didn't want to play behind Paige and Azzi.
she may not have been afraid of competing against those two but she's also not stupid.......Jackson is an "alpha" and not afraid of competition from anyone including Paige or Azzi. More proof of this young woman, whom I once disliked intensely, is superior in decency, ethic, and never forgotten what Geno has done for her. I'm beginning to like former Tennessee players, A very class act."Any time you get to play UConn, it is a privilege. Charlie, CD is one most would have said the same thing about. True talent will get time. Projects take a bit longer. Before you say it, I agree CD hit the right circumstances at the right time.only if she's looking for a lot of playing time while the two of them are still on the roster......
Woe woe slow down here ! Tennessee players that are class act?More proof of this young woman, whom I once disliked intensely, is superior in decency, ethic, and never forgotten what Geno has done for her. I'm beginning to like former Tennessee players, A very class act.

Kara

Still a very short list no?
As long as you are throwing cold water maybe you should check with the Duke fans and players if they'd like you to inquire about the return of coach Joanne P. McCallie. Kara is doing fine, give her some time.I have to throw some cold water on this thread-many of these same posters here have postulated how good a coach Kara will be and would be this year (some had predicted a 4th place finish in the ACC) and yet the results are not evident as she's 10th in the ACC at 6-8, 15-9 overall built on a OOC of 147 rank. At least their NET Rating of 40 would indicate they would be in the NCAAT. They are 2-5 in their last 7 but at least they have Virginia and Clemson next up, with BC and UNC looming. My hope is 3-1 but may only be 2-2.
So far that other 2nd year coach in the league with a Golden Dome has outperformed her.
Now back to the ongoing lovefest for Kara....
If Azzi and Paige were healthy, I think Ducharme would still be getting some playing time but certainly not twenty-five plus minutes per game and it's unlikely that she would have developed so quickly............Charlie, CD is one most would have said the same thing about. True talent will get time. Projects take a bit longer. Before you say it, I agree CD hit the right circumstances at the right time.
Perhaps but please keep in mind that Duke scrapped their entire season last year due to Covid. IMO, that makes for a lot of extra ground to make up.I have to throw some cold water on this thread-many of these same posters here have postulated how good a coach Kara will be and would be this year (some had predicted a 4th place finish in the ACC) and yet the results are not evident as she's 10th in the ACC at 6-8, 15-9 overall built on a OOC of 147 rank. Yes and that’s another “chink” in her armor as other less talented teams sucked it up and played including the Golden Domers who clearly benefited by doing so.Perhaps but please keep in mind that Duke scrapped their entire season last year due to Covid.
