If your title tickles your funny bone ---read newspapers---Journalism professors must have all failed 6th grade and since the Newsprint occupations lost Proof Readers (spell check and Grammar check killed the job ) So now they rely on Techy nerds to provide grammar and spelling corrections?? Hoooda thunk it???
Yet I dislike the people on Boneyard that correct spellings and grammatical usage--that's ok for 3rd graders but adults should be allowed to live with their current level of education--if that be their choice.

The way I read the title and the comment associated with it, I thought she was finding the statement meaning different than probably intended--FUNNY. Have you read the Large print Headlines and column titles in newpapers lately??
I NEVER cut and past --but others herein make a hobby of doing so.
I always have found you above such blogger/politician/childish actions. Kib in recent viewing of subject area's listed currently does not have the thread you suggested. But I'll check again. But since I don't cut and past the original will remain as --is..

Have you tried the new Elmer's glue. With a sharp pair of scissors and that glue, you can cut and paste anything. Just don't run with the scissors.

Childish?

It looked to me that you had somehow replied to the wrong thread, given that you were speaking about grammar police and there is another thread which has a lively discussion about those matters. Sometimes people lose track of what thread they are reading or responding to. I've done it and I've seen it happen several times.

So what I was doing, was making a well intentioned suggestion that you place those same thoughts in that thread. I'm not taking a stand one way or another on what you've said or on any of the points made in this or the other thread.

I have no idea what you mean by "blogger/politician." And I find the "childish" remark very insulting.

And my post had nothing to do with Kib. The thread is an OT thread initiated by cabbie191.

I don't know why cut and paste would be a problem. You could cut and paste your remarks here into that thread with the preface of something like "Here's something I just wrote in another thread and that is relevant to this one as well." Or, you could rewrite what you wrote and tailor it for that thread.

Or do nothing. That is of course your prerogative.
 
And I guess we will just have to live with your dislike. I can stand it if Kibs can.
 
I can't imagine that P will survive this investigation. I wonder if Duke would try and rehire Goestenkoers?
