Not sure if dubious is the correct word, but there are a few odd records that may be set this season.
I thought I was looking at Deja Vu all over again, where, like the last two seasons, UConn would go undefeated the entire season, playing basically six players, only to lose the semi final game. There were also injuries involved, and the players may have been worn down by being over extended. ( pure speculation on my part.) The Baylor loss meant that won't happen this year.
KLS was in danger of a Never-Never, as in, never losing a regular season game, and never playing in a National Championship game.
However, both KLS and Collier still have the possibility of losing more games in the Final Four than in the regular season, over four years. ( and you can add AAC tournament games too.)
These are just ODD records, that I don't believe anyone else has even come close to.
I am anxious to see how this season plays out. Hoping for the best.
