DT has that type of cash?

She's made multi millions in salary in Europe over the years. Plus, WBB players can't be dumb with their money, so I'm sure she's kept a lot of it.

And I'm pretty sure she didn't pay cash for it!

I believe Dee has worked her way from about $40K as a WNBA rookie to about $100K. In Russia, she made roughly $500K. I'm not sure about Turkey. Her endorsements have to be at least 6 figures. The house sounds like the right price for her situation.

It'll give Geno a nice place to crash when he's out recruiting in So. Cal., looking for the next DT, KML, and KLS.

IIRC she was at the $1M level for her Russian team for a number of years, and I think she and CP3 are still close to that even if things aren't quite as lucrative as they once were, when their favorite owner was still living and the recession had not hit. I'll have to go back and look/dig to be sure though.

She is the best in the world at what she does, so I assume she could afford whatever she wants.

Manhattan Beach is very nice and peaceful. Nearly all of the LA Kings players live there.
Only negative about the place is that the homes are on top of each other and your place better have enough parking because parking isnt the easiest on the streets. MB is a short drive to LAX so I cans see Geno hanging out while DT is overseas.

It was at least $500K and may have been as high as $1M. Plus lodging in a palace and, I believe, favorable tax treatment.

I'm not sure if the players get paid for WNBA ads, but at least the following for Dee: Nike, LifeLock, and Gatorade. Plus appearance fees and local commercials.

It was cut to $500,000 in the aftermath of some events but it had beed at $1 million plus for a couple of years.

Which makes the Invicible Queen's deal in China (estimated at *upper* six figures) for a shorter season all the more attractive in the current environment..

Why would you assume that? Wouldn't that be a bit weird?
It maybe a bit weird from American's perspective; but considering her Italian/Argentinian background ... It's all about family :)

I'm one of the best in the world at what I do, but since it's in education (and early childhood, to make matters worse) it doesn't count. :) but I am a fabulous house sitter....
Helen, you and I both know that a quality early childhood education forms the skeleton onto which every other learned thing is built! Celebrate all PK thru 3rd grade teachers, I say! And don't stop there.
