I don't even care about his scoring. I just want him to become something close to an elite defender.

He made a big step in that direction last year. Hopefully another one for him this year.

Some statistics, like D Plus minus, obviously his steals and blocks, and another couple I don’t remember have him has an elite defender. I don’t know how they work but on basketballreference they have him up there with the best defensive big men.
