When's the last time UConn had a BE Rookie of the Year? My memory is never good with those things.

I wouldn't think there would be that many opportunities because of how UConn has historically worked freshmen in slowly.

It's crazy when you think that Doron beat our Ray for the award. I don't believe Ray ever started a game his first year though.

i remember that season ray was terrific off the bench. averaged nearly 13 ppg i believe.
