I agree with those commenting on players invited but not selected - at least unlike the NFL they are not constantly putting the camera on her.
 
There's got to be more to Simmons' non-selection than her skill set

Yeah, about the time Holdsclaw was drafted. I respected Pat, but I'm not sure how much she helped.

Yeah maybe they should have researched it better. Did they just assume she would picked early? Don't like her but it must be a giant bummer being the last one sitting there.

great pick by the sparks, she played dolson tough and byu made it a game vs uconn. SUcks she won't play this year though. :(
 
Liston may not be the most athletic player, but she's a great shooter. Put her on the floor with Maya and Seimone, and she'll get open looks.
 
Sad to see Tina traded, but obviously she wasn't happy with the organization.

On the bright side, if we can't have Husky former greats, the next best thing is to have respected Husky former opponents. And given the way Geno schedules, we're always familiar with the great players across WCBB. Chiney and company will be fun to watch.
 
We'll have to root for Meighan Simmons now as she'll be teammates with Tina. Good luck to her.

Yup. Not just the last one, but WAY the last one. Really feel sorry for the kid. i am not sure she should have been taken earlier, but she damned sure should not have been invited.

I would hope that they talked to the GMs and asked who they were considering.
 
What were the details of the Hartley trade? I cant get the live broadcast/.

Not really sure about the Sun team - Thomas and O are both best within ten feet of the basket and Bone as well. And they already have Pederson, Griffin and Hampton
