I haven't watched yet but a psa for fellow fans of Sherlock. Release date is today. Dracula is Moffats's latest project after Sherlock came to a close. Sherlock, especially early Sherlock was amazing and I highly recommend to all. I am seeing good reviews and will probably tune in tonight if one of these football games gets out of hand.

My wife started it and thought it was good. Just isn't sure where it's going yet. She expects this to get better as it goes along.

I got the email from Netflix that it was out (as something they think I'd like). Curious to see the opinions here. It's tough to make a fresh Dracula show or movie. How much do you still to Bram Stoker and how much do you "update"?

After the 2nd half of the first episode I started to think I was watching something special. The 2nd episode was a step back but still fun and good. The 3rd episode was a mess.

Agreed. The nunnery scene was the pinnacle. I liked the two main characters too.

The first two episodes combined make for a decent dracula movie, then it goes off the rails.

.-.
I'm done with vampires in any medium. And zombies.

OK three episodes in and this too a very interesting turn.
