Just watched Dr. Sleep on HBO. I'm a big fan of The Shining, both movie and book. I thought this was a solid movie, it could of easily been a stand alone without being tied to the shining. As The Shining sequel, i think it was eh, but i think their was way more risk to try and basically redo the shining and say Danny revisits the hotel as an adult (movie version).
