Stokes leads the country in block rate, per wbb state, so I would be fine with it.

Elizabeth Williams is the other name that comes to mind. Her block rate is nowhere close to Stokes's but she plays 30 minutes per game And is also a usage offensive player. Not sure if it should matter but the degree of difficulty is arguably higher for Williams.

Maybe Amanda Zahui B could be in the mix as well.

While watching tonight's Duke/ Louisville game, one of the announcers mention Williams as a potential Defensive Player of the Year because of her shot blocking ability.

I caught that. She had 8 boards and 5 blocks. Kiah seems to match or surpass that often.

The two "Sexiest" stats for DPOY are blocks and steals; blocks obviously favor posts while steals favor guards. National leader in steals is Regina Okoye from Weber St at 4spg. The only play in the top 10 from a ranked team is RU's Syessence Davis at #6 with 3.43spg. The biggest name player in the top 15 is Cal's Brittany Boyd with 3.14spg.
