Why does it take UConn so long to get a downloadable football schedule on their website that is compatible with MS Outlook? The 2012 schedule is on there, but as I recall, it will take months for them to get the 2013 schedule up there since the announcement of the home schedule. Is it because the times are TBA? I dont think this would be the case as it is normally a few weeks before each game when the start times are actually announced. This just seems like something that should be done immediately when the schedule is uploaded to the site.

Just make them all day events, as they should be anyway. Problem solved. :)

That's why Uconn is looked at as a small-timer football program.

Fans need to be told that a game is an all-day event.

Fans of real football programs find that to be self-evident.

Can't wait for the first whiner complaining of a Uconn game conflicting with some BS family event like weddings, anniversaries, funerals and crap like that.

Real fans keep every Thurs-Sat free from Labor Day to Christmas.

Well, since the gold standard for "big time/big boy" football seems to be Alabama - I went to check their official site and their 2013 football schedule is unavailable for download yet. (http://www.rolltide.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/alab-m-footbl-sched.html). I also checked tOSU (http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/m-footbl/sched/osu-m-footbl-sched.html) - not available for download.

I believe the issue may lie w/ CBS Sportsnet.com who host the sites and not UConn - but hey - you can download the UConn baseball schedule which is in season!!

I always get livid at the people who plan weddings and parties during football season and boating season! I pay a fortune for something that I can only use 6 months of the year. You had better believe that when I can use it, im on it. They then get pissed when you dont attend Memorial Day parties and Labor Day parties. Are you EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFin kidding me! IM ON A BOAT!

I used to work 1030pm to 9am on Friday into Saturday. I would head to the game right out of work. I swear it was the beer that kept me awake. :) I am not there ASAP. One of the perks of parking at Silva's is that you dont have to adhere to the parking commandos. I come when I want, do what I want, leave when I want.

I get angry at anyone who gets married on Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day Weekend. Or any three day weekend. Or really anyone who gets married and invites me.

Or really anyone who gets married and invites me.
Yes - this. I have to go to 2 weddings this year and am dreading both already.

Weddings are a real pain in the ass for everyone- the couple getting married, the parents, the bridemaids/groomsmen and the guests.

And once you get married every invite the rest of your life is paybacks to someone.

Have I thanked you yet for not inviting me to your wedding, or were you married before '98? If it's the former, thank you.

Since it's the off-season, we can run a Boneyard Bachelor/Bachelorette competition over the spring, announce the winners in the early summer, throw a Bachelor party weekend of the Michigan game and get them married in the parking lot of the Rent for the last home game of the year.

A Boneyard Wedding Bash. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

fans of real programs don't continually take out a measuring stick to see how they measure up against 'real' football programs.
please tell me again how to tailgate or when to get in my seat so I can be a fan of a 'real' program.

Yeah they do.

The measuring stick is the size of your RV, the coolness, size and colors of yourHusky-themed canopy, the smell of your tailgate food, the relevance of the # on your jersey and the hotness of the chicks in your group.

Rest assured, you are being measured up by every fan and every opponent.

And the correct answer is you should be in the stadium 23min and 16 sec before the national anthem and should be in your seat 18 minutes before kickoff.

If you were a real fan, you'd know this.

To your point (and yes I realize Mengus is a Ville shill)...

The irony of a bunch of empty seats in the picture of this story of UConn adding seats for one game. cbsprt.co/YCdApc

You just made the point... you are measuring the Rent up against Papa Pizza. Every program is being measured up against everyone else in the CR age.;)
actually, what I was trying to show was that anyone can find a 'damaging' photo of a half empty stadium...
The notion that there are people on this board that are going to police everything to suggest whether we are or aren't real fans is just annoying. And by everything, we're now talking about the schedule showing a time vs all day event.
