These were Alabama, Auburn and Southern Miss fans bellying up. Five years ago it would've been "UConn has a football team?"

Not sure I follow your timeline about 5 years ago as I think the P years did an incredible amount of damage to our reputation (possibly even killing the. potential ACC invite too).

That being said, nice to get noticed in the deep south

I live down here in Atlanta. Believe me, they know the name because of basketball. Football will get there however in time.

I know folks are mostly pro-B1G around here but it sure would be great to travel to ATL for conference games. I attended the 2005 GT game down there and met up with a great group of UConn fans.
