Very happy for the seniors to win a game like this at home.

Hopefully they realize the journey, in and of itself, has value. But man that pot of gold (bowl game) is pretty damn sweet too.

Congrats to all of them.

Wish I was in East Hartford instead of Columbus Ohio tonight... its like the town died in the span in 3 seconds. Great job Huskies and Coach D... Can we now put some of the criticism to rest... he may be still making a play calling mistake here and there but I rather the mistakes come from him rather then the mistakes that the players use to make all the time. Players are showing the maturity that Coach P never was able to bring forth from his guys. The future is bright... maybe even B1G!

Does this win guarantee a bowl bid?
It basically does because there are more bowl games (40) this year than last. A 6-6 UConn is better than a 6-6 team from the Sun Belt, MAC, or C-USA in most cases.

Over the atlantic on my way to Rome, just got wifi access and found out about this. I am thrilled!!!! (a;so sad that I had to miss this game).

Great job Huskies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I have read, it will likely be against a Sun Belt team (so basically we should win). However, if we beat Temple next week, we should get a slightly better match-up (I'm hoping low level ACC, e.g. Duke).

Is there any chance we could end up in the Pinstripe Bowl? I've never been to a college football game before, but I'm in NYC over the holidays and would definitely go to that one if we're playing.
