Marina Mabey will simply point to the area that she wants Dorka to set the high pick (and subsequent flare or roll). Very Jersey shore -- who needs words?

Familia came in third last year (on a really exciting ending) in their first visit to the Euro Finals, so Dorka will have a chance to help the team make the next push...and develop her individual game, as well. Buona fortuna, Dorka! :)

Dorka probably already knows quite a bit of Italian.

Mabrey will not be on the roster next season. Dorka is probably their last major signing. They already announced Robyn Parks and Arella Guirantes for the two non-European spots and Julia Reisingerova, a Czech post player who was drafted by the Sparks a few years ago for the fourth foreign player spot. They could sign another European player to rotate in during the domestic season while getting to play their whole roster in EuroLeague like they did in having Mabrey, Howard, Mestdagh, Ndour, and Zahui B (until they replaced her with Sventoraite).

Thanks for the information. So, Howard is not coming back, either?
If not, it will be interesting to see what clubs they're both headed to next season.

Brittney Griner, Mercury confronted by 'provocateur' at the airport. [LINK]

Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner and her teammates were confronted by a Blaze Media YouTube personality in Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on Saturday morning before flying to Indiana after the team played twice in Arlington, Texas, this past week.

Alex Stein, a Dallas native who has gained some notoriety for confronting politicians, posted a photograph on Twitter saying, "I just met my favorite WNBA player. Video coming soon." Stein then also posted a brief clip of him yelling at Griner as she walked through the airport.

Howard has declared that she no longer plans to play overseas. Have not heard anything about Mabrey, but I think some players are who are prioritization-restricted are still deciding if there is a timeline where they can play overseas.

On that Notre Dame and UConn related point, Reyer Venezia in Italy has agreed to an extension with Jessica Shepard and signed Anna Makurat.
