Fans tend to, since their primary occupation is to speculate on possibilities before they unfold. This isn’t a science experiment, after all.

Of course, the folks who want to shut down any speculation by claiming others mean a team in November is better than another team was in the final four are killjoys.

“Who cares” wasn’t the best way to put it. What I was trying to get at is that pre-Tennessee is a lowish bar. Azzi hadn’t hit her stride yet. And I think that when people say this year’s team is even better than last year’s I don’t think they’re really thinking pre TN.

Which brings me back to the team that showed up for the F4. I don’t see how you can say this team is better than that. Tho they could get there.
