I have a dream last night that we beat Kansas ....LOL
 
i mean i guess we should at least go to the arena on saturday but really what's the point

we're basically the washington generals against the globetrotters
 
They don't look great vs austinpea who is crazy under sized. I know it sounds insane but we match up well with Kansas . Basically Florida 2014 redux

If Kansas doesn't look great vs. Austin Peay based on the first 5 min of the game, then we are one of the worst teams in the country.
 
Kansas beat Texas by 30 @ Texas. We only won by 5.

Honestly I'd look at that Kentucky game as a potential blueprint. That was a game @ Phog that Kentucky really should have won. Not saying we're that similar to Kentucky, but does anybody else in the big 12 have as much talent as we do?
 
Kansas beats us by name recognition alone, championship count doesn't matter

They are gonna blow out Austin pea who has no high d1 ballers it looks like.

But I think Hamilton is working at a distinct size advantage, and Gibbs could match up decently with Mason. The problem is they have a lot of freaking size at the 5 slot, but they are all kentan Facey skill level .

Need Miller on the floor going to work though , as well as a better shooting effort from all the guys.
 
The refs called a foul on Peay in only 5 seconds. Miller will pick one up at the tip.

Not as worried as today. Sat no one expects us to do anything and our coaching staff is deep in tourney mode. We play the #1 seed in the whole shabang so tee it up and go. Expect us to play less tight. Doomed.
 
I know Mike Francesa said we would never be like Kansas but we have 4 National Championships to Kansas' 3. Facts are facts.

Ain't no shame over there in Kansas. The fans can and should be proud. They seem to get more opportunities to get number 4 than we get to get our number 5.

We just won our 4th 2 years ago, lol. They won their third in 2008. So yeah just from a time stand point they've had more opportunities. Yes, Kansas is a great program. We can't match their history but our success is underestimated.
