Coach K doesn't want to draw too much attention to his cheating. If Duke were too dominant, other schools might ask the NCAA to take action.

PS - Notice Zion took Duke's last two shots, and they won. Offense will go to him when the chips are down.

That was one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. Miss the days of being involved in games like this, but man, that was fun as a fan of college basketball. Hate Duke, but def love watching this team bc of Zion. Rooting against them of course.

The talent level between us and these teams is insane though...

Break another shoe Zion. Go punch another hole in the wall due to a videogame UNC pg 3.1...these teams already get all the advantages in the world.

I thought Coach K/Duke, and North Carolina wanted us in the ACC and it was the football schools like Clemson, Miami, and obviously BC than fought to keep us out.

Duke (K in particular), UNC, UVA and NC State (I believe the last two) were big UConn supporters. FSU, Clemson and Miami were anti-UConn bc they didn’t want another “nothern basketball school”. BC was 100% against also as was Syracuse (they simply In were afraid bc of how they got diminished when we upgraded to the BE). FSU/Clemson were threatening to go to the Big12 if we got in because it’d be too basketball/northern focused. Eventually after pressure the NC schools and UVA caved bc they couldnt afford the football prestige to leave.

Our talent pretty much sucks right now, that will start changing some next year and moving forward. This staff is very good.

First, we earned that status and nobody can take away the NCs. Second, you can thank KO for burning the place to the ground.

we've had our down years, but are moving in the right direction, coach is the real deal.....if were gonna do the UNC comparison our last 3 years are close to there "8-20, 19-16, 19-11" before the won the national championship....clearly we arent going to win the championship next year...but were in place to build the program back up....while attending real classes

Zion scored something like 13 of Duke's last 15 points...He almost singlehandedly won that game...31 points, 11 rebounds.

Duke, with Zion playing, is a much more formidable opponent.

I don't think that FSU has much of a chance in the ACC championship game...Duke will pull away by double digits.
