I don't normally post things like this, and if he decides it's in his best interests to move on, I'll wish him the best, but I really hope this kid comes back. I want him to come back as the leader of a tournament-eligible team, **** all over some more highly touted guards, and get the attention he deserves. He's been criminally underrated this season, his improvement has been obvious, and I think he will absolutely murder people next season.

I would absolutely love to have him back...we really need him and it would allow the fairy tale of this season to be completed next year, cement Ollie as a force in collegiate basketball coaching and actually improve his prospects for the NBA.

The NBA draft this year is "weak" because it is weak at the top. McElmore, Smart, Olynyk etc. are not likely to become All-Stars, at least in the short term.

I just reviewed 6 NBA draft prediction websites and despite how much he means to the Huskies and home much we love him, he is not listed...even in the second round. That coupled with his current injury doesn't make it sound like a wise decision to leave now. But, even if he does leave, he will always be one of my favorite UConn players.

He and Niels are easily two of my favorite players ever. I will be at Sr. Night next year and I will cry.

Of all the past UConn players and their NBA prospects (not draft) Bazz is one who could really could use another year of college ball. Not even for the team but he still has a lot to prove. He really could use some accolades, 30 point games, more double digit assists and maybe average over 20 points per game. I'm not sure he has put 2 back to back halves in highlight mode. Against less than better guards he was passive (albeit deliberate).

I really believe one more year will help not hurt him. Sure he has a shot at the NBA but guards are so plentiful and taller. He will have to fight every day and every minute, and if he were to get injured like this year his career will be jeopardized. He is too good to be on the fringe for draft prospects and I can only believe NBA teams and draft pundits have more questions than answers. Next year at UConn he can and will answer those questions and some. In my opinion right now he is still potential based as opposed to proven based.

Draft projection websites before work outs are useless. Napier is a stud and would get drafted in either round . I just want him to work on his body , athleticism health etc. he is already fast imagine another gear . My gut is saying he stays

I have a feeling that Bazz is going. I hope I am wrong. And I hope that whatever he decides it's the right choice for him and his family.

But just to be a little selfish I would love if he stays. Mainly because right now I don't think Boat can become a pass first PG. He is a 2G. And going by this year the offense stalls when he is running the team.

I realize he could improve but if Bazz leaves I'm hoping that Samuel can come in and run the point allowing Boat to play the 2g.
