Yes there is progress with players and a plan to fill holes. “Wasted” is too strong, but my point was that Jalen’s apparent season-ending injury would undoubtedly be the end of any hopes we had for any post-season of any type whatsoever, be it NIT or an AAC tourney run. None of the games matter any more except for returning players to get better.
