A few years ago Hurley said something along the lines of “good teams dunk the ball a lot” and a few years before that it seemed like we never dunked at all. My question for the stats people is does Donovan have a chance to have more dunks this season than say our 2016-17 team?

Donovan has 26 and is on pace for 73 dunks (plus whatever happens in the postseason). The 2017-18 team which was Hurley's first season had 48 as a team for the whole season

Next seasons were 73, 76, 64 and 83. Good to great chance he passes all those seasons as well

While the 17-18 season was instrumental in getting him (or anyone else) to UConn, he was not there yet. 18-19 was his first season.

Think about all this with just the relatively limited minutes he's had.

I mean the Cling Kong and Dunkin' Donuts angle is too easy right.

Make a Cling Kong donut you can dunk in your coffee.
 
That's my favorite part of Clingan's game. He doesn't mess around, he hammers it home. So many big men in our past like Thabeet, Oriakhi and even Sanogo (to a much less extent) have made me scream at the TV to go up strong and slam it. Not the case with Clingan. I love his game.
 
Man, Clingan is just a machine, when you barely need to hop to dunk... it's a gimme. Vs LIU I think all but one of his shots was a dunk?
