Donovan Clingan wins a championship, finds his dad​

It's been an emotional five years for UConn freshman Donovan Clingan. It was in 2018, while playing in high school, that he lost his mom to cancer.

He had the option to play at pretty much any prep school he wanted to. But Clingan stayed home at Bristol Central High in honor of his mother, who held the school's scoring record.

There, he set his own records and won a state championship just one year ago. Tonight, he is a champion at the collegiate level and quickly found his dad, Bill, in the crowd for an emotional embrace.
