They can cut him after they have a settlement in place if they choose too

If I'm Bob Diaco I'm reaching out to him to guage his interest in coaching.

He has roots here in the state, worked his tail off in the weight room and has NFL credibility. If he's interested in coaching, I hire him immediately and have him shadow Foley.

Even if Thomas isn't ready yet, let him know that if he's interested, UConn wants him as a coach.
