Dominic Woodson transferring from Memphis

@JohnMartin929: To further that report: I'm told by a source that Dominic Woodson could transfer to Southwest Tennessee Community College in town.
 
He's had some troubles at Memphis - he's the kid who was suspended for 'cussing', he was left home for the NCAA tourney and he was recently beaten up by a football player half his size.

I'm guessing Pastner pointed him towards the door.

Breaking: THERE NEVER WAS A PLAYER NAMED DOMINIC WOODSON.
 
The plan is for him to enroll at SWC and commit back to Memphis for the following season.
 
I remember when we went after him. Guess we lucked out.

Jerian Grant was readmitted to Notre Dame recently after a semester away at a CC college or some other college, after he was academically ineligible 2nd semester this past season. He still has eligibility left. Sounds like a similar situation for Woodson then.

This isn't about academic and more about getting out the University for a year than the University suspending him and taking up a scholly at the same time. In the fight with the football player, a female staff member got pushed and the University was doing a investigation into the altercation. So Dom will go up the community college for a year by the University and come back for the following season.
