UConn 7
Duke 3
LSU 2
10 schools with 1 (Tenn, ND, Stanford, Maryland, Baylor, Cal, DePaul, Temple, GW, Delaware)

I am sorry... did you say UCONN had 7 former players in the All Star Game, and Notre Dame has.....????? How can that be?

Anyone else find it funny that the UCONN players out of the East have all been in the WNBA for an odd number of years. Tina 7, Tiffany 5, Stefanie 3. Then the West are all even numbers Bird 14, Taurasi 12, Maya 6,..... well then there is Stewie who they say is 1 1, but this is her second season so.... Anyways just a silly observation

But if you include the old- say, right before it broke up- Big East Conference, wouldn't that dominate the All Star teams?

I count 10 of the 22 players from the old BigEast: 7 from UConn, then Notre Dame, Temple, and DePaul.

Very proud of BigMommaStef and all the UCONN players on the all star team. I continue to be incredibly impressed (no longer amazed as that implies "surprised") at the sheer volume of UCONN players who are the very best on their respective teams and continue to make US National Teams, Olympic Teams and All Star Teams.

ACC by a mile!
When was the last time the ACC won anything? For a conference to be the best, I think it has to have at least one national champion every 5 years. The ACC has had one national champion in the last 11 years, and that champ moved on to the B1G. Before that title you have to go back to UNC in 1994 - the Stewie/Mo/Tuck class wasn't even born yet.

Fine, the SEC then.

Fair enough, I actually said as much myself in one of the other threads that you have to give it to them because the final was an all-SEC final plus A&M has a title, and Tennessee has 2 in the last 11 years.
