Auto-correct also turned my text message about the UConn Huskies into the UConn Junkies, so I know how that goes.....

He may be posting from England where it's perfectly OK to say "spelt" instead of "spelled".

Blog or no blog you would think that a communications major from a fairly well known university would have proper grammar ingrained in his psyche to the point where he could write/type proper English in his sleep. The fact that he isn't embarrassed about posting with that poor of grammar skills is sadder than the fact that the Courant keeps in on in the first place. Sorry Des but clean up your act.

I don't want to bash the guy in what he does to support his family and make a living, but what's going on here? The last few Des articles I've read have been abound with simple errors and it's getting to the point where it's sort of embarrassing. If he'd taken one simple glance at the piece, he'd immediately see the mistakes. 'Lower lef injury' and 'Bradleu' are simple typos that don't impact content, but it really just reflects poorly.

I don't mind bashing him. He has a simple job yet somehow, he manages to screw it up each and every time. Plain and simple, he sucks as a writer. It's not too often that he will have a readable story.
