I am curious how we match up in comparison to other schools. I looked through several news articles but didn't see the actual dimensions.

No offense meant, pun intended. I am much more concerened about the size of our linemen than that of the scoreboard. I am sure it will at least be Webster Bank times P.C. Richard by Bob's Stores squared.I am curious how we match up in comparison to other schools. I looked through several news articles but didn't see the actual dimensions.
From what I understand, it's now a rectangle shape (like a flatscreen tv) instead of the square, and fills out the whole width of the existing scoreboard structure. No offense meant, pun intended. The scoreboard size has never been a problem and I am sure from what has been in print it is not smaller. The number we need to improve is
butts in the seats.
I'm not sure where you see me suggest that the scoreboard size is more important than any number of other factors. That said, there's a reason that there's a wiki page with college football scoreboard size rankings. Size matters, especially if you want to be considered B1G.No offense meant, pun intended. 60 feet wide, quite an upgrade. Puts us up on the list close to whatever Rutgirls has, I think.
I just read it again, someone linked to a story about Boise's new board, I thought it was ours.T - where did you see the dimensions in that thread?

B1G improvement. Like it.I updated the rankings. We are now the 42nd largest college scoreboard with 2,044 square feet.
