Well if you have raised teenagers you can make some safe assumptions:

1. Puerto Rico (weather, beaches, women, etc.)
2. Temptation being on 'vacation', new environment and appeals to your senses
3. Immaturity (the biggie) leading to bad/poor decisions
4. 'Oh hell' I'm not playing much anyway so why not
5. "What the hell does consequences mean anyway?"
6. The saddest: "Fukk It!"

Actually I confess these are my main reasons for doing stupid Shot as a kid.
