Agree. Dodd must be talking about a tv studio ex coach who was impacted by continuously getting robbed of players by unscrupulous competitors who bowed to sneaker companies and lured them away.

Funny Dodd story. Around 15-18 years ago, I was at the checkout counter at Bennie's Farm Market in Essex and he was ahead of me. He was asking the kids working the two registers if they knew who he was and was flabbergasted when they didn't. Some wise guy by the produce turned around and said, "Sure, I know who you are. Newt Gingrich, right?"
