Not really anything surprising, but UConn gets exactly zero mention.

I was just about to start a thread when I saw this. Just wanted to let you know that our president and AD are very busy right now. As you know, at this time in the spring the grill needs to be cleaned and the grass at the stadium needs fertilizing. Not really anything surprising, but UConn gets exactly zero mention.

...and how exactly do we know this?while at the same time a private plane flew from Bradley to a small airport in Addison, TX, about 12 miles from Big 12 HQ.

Hmmm...bidding war?
If only I still worked in UConn's travel department. though something like this might be hidden under the foundation to keep it out of foia
Fun? Bats pit crazy more like it. I'm in. Give me more.Fun stuff... just be aware that NetJets is the largest fractional ownership/jet card companies in the world w/ a huge fleet and lots of flights to lots of places. By using a company like NetJets you can shield the identity of the plane owner/FAA tail# (for instance use of CT based Whelen Engineering's Corporate Jet).
But man, had I known about whatever iteration of the Boneyard existed when I was in school and working there I would have had so much info about recruiting trips to share...The school has worked very hard to keep anything related to Big 12 expansion out of the FOIA's purview.

You expect me to remember which restaurant a recruit got taken to after oh about 12 years when I didn't commit it to memory then? You still could share that info.
Need to check, Cinci, Memphis, Salt Lake City.... one of them was likely there as well.
... my quick search turned up nothing.
You guys should work for the CIA tracking terrorists. But the planes to Texas were empty. Head fake. Keeping everyone off the B1G trail.Date Aircraft Origin Destination Departure Arrival DurationSo Hartford to Addison, Addison to San Antonio, San Antonio to DC, DC to New Haven.

Meanwhile, UConn's president was quietly absent from both the women's visit to the White House and UConn STEM day, while at the same time a private plane flew from Bradley to a small airport in Addison, TX, about 12 miles from Big 12 HQ. Huh.
