DOBBS 3 TDS IN MILFORDS COME BACK WIN VS. ARMY

RB MONTRELL DOBBS HAD 3 TDS and well over 150 yards rushing in a come
from behind win over a good ARMY PREP. both teams were 5-0 and ARMY jumped
out early 17-0 over Milford. DOBBS scored 2 tds to cut the lead to 17-14 halftime army.
Army came out the half and scored again, 24-14 army 3rd quarter. qb erich berzinskas
came in the game and threw deep balls for tds ( 82, 70, yards) he's a big-time down field passer.
not to accurate with stats but ball park figure reports. milford won 40-24 over army.
Tyler Matakevich OLB locked it down on defense 2cd half kids a beast!!!

Dobbs rushed for 600 yards and 7 tds in 6 games for a 6-0 milford team.
not bad for averaging 2 quarters per game.
Dobbs runs well between the tackles and i think he will share carries next
season with Uconn rite away! Coach Chap wants him playing at 190-195
Jordan Todman size when he touches storrs CT.!

Does anyone know if there has been any indication that Dobbs will join the team in January?

Our backfield will be greatly improved next year that is for sure. McCombs, Fox and Hinkley will add weight, throw Delorenzo and Dobbs into the mix and we should be solid.

I'm wondering if the staff is hoping for Hyppolite to provide some relief/assistance this year. They're clearly not confident in shoemate or Jean Louis otherwise they wouldn't be running McCombs into the ground.

dobbs is 5 9 3/4" 186 lbs. ran a 4.53/40 this summer. and kicking butt in the classroom!
we want him at 190 plus when he arrives in january.
arkeel newsome loves UCONN and were watching how he grows. 5 8" 173 rb/db, will wait to see
if he grows taller, arkeel touches 5 10" he'll be UCONNs 1st 5 star recruit! arkeel just got invited
to PSU and FLORIDA home games.

Thanks...Dobbs may get a little quicker/faster after being under Jerry Martin's watch...definitely will be stronger have more power. I am looking forward to seeing him on the field, there is definitely an opportunity for him to get on the field!

Isn't newsome being recruited as a DB?

newsome is a all-purpose RB, plays db as well. I bought Arkeel to 4 one day football camps,
and he left on each teams radar. arkeel has a big-upside and is very impressive for a youngster.
BC' was amazed could'nt believe he was a rising sophomore, competing on the highest highschool
level. arkeel worked out with milford academy all summer and it's paying off! uconn should offer
him early bcus the big guys are coming. PSU' FLORIDA' have contacted his head coach and he's
on there radar, and already a special invite to camp there 2012'

PSU. TALKED TO DOBBS THIS MORNING, HE HAS IGNORED THE INTEREST AND STATES IM PLAYING AT UCONN FINAL
