Morgan looked really, really good today. I also hope to see her play like that this season....

Honestly I am surprised at everybody surprise about how impressive Morgan is in games. Granted we were only able to see glimpses of her abilities in her freshman and sophomores years but in those glimpses there was a steady strong smart player only hampered by those terrible injuries. There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to end up being one of UConn's greats.

And now, I wait for the other shoe to drop as people debate this post.

Indeed, the development of Cave for Baylor is one of the primary areas of focus for UConn's season on a UConn message board.

Of course, one would imagine an average of 27 and 18 would put Cave in the running for NPOY, especially if Baylor is a top 10 team under her leadership.

Cave had 27 points and 18 rebounds in Baylor's first exhibition game. If she does that every game this year she will be an AA first-team selection.

While true, pretty unlikely. Unless Baylor is going to compete at the Div II level all year.

I'm not surprised at all. I knew if she could be healthy, she would be great. We saw glimpses of it several times.
