Do anyone no why UConn didn't Offer Kiah Gillespie??

We missed out on Bria Holmes. I know we have 3 of the best forward coming in but why they didn't reward this girl for being from CT and putting in the hard work to be a ESPN top 100.

Bria Holmes was simply a mistake. IIRC the staff thought they had Deshields all wrapped up and felt another player who was not as good, but with a similar skill set who played the same position, would not make sense.

As for Gillespie, I think the staff looked at her but decided to go in a different direction. There are lots of local kids who were pretty good who probably weren't a right fit for UCONN (but who went to schools like SJU), but I do think Holmes was a mistake...

If thats the case I'm glad we didn't get either of them Bria Smith is a complete BUST
