Jelani is the one I felt worst for after that block. He went from absolutely elated to completely dejected. Guy gave everything he had out there, only to have it taken away by some who didn't.

I meant, on defense. We have other dline that can hold the fort. He’s a nice add for the offense.

I love how Stafford's 247 profile lists Stafford as an RB and listed him at 6'2 263 out of HS.

The dude ran for 1608 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior in HS!!!

5 TDs on 10 carries...no longer just a fun "flukey" option: Stafford is literally not only our top red zone rushing option, but simply a really good one.

I'm here for it.

Well, not many schools allow their DL to run the ball so maybe it's a niche he doesn't want to risk losing. I for one would love to see him line up when it's 1st and 10 and get a shot running right up the guy. At a minimum he will beat down the opposing D.

Unlike many here, I am a little concerned about Jelani taking on this role. He can stutter step, side step, and spin. Can't ask him not to do those things. He is in there to score. But the possibility of injury makes me shudder. What happens to the D if he goes down?
