In preparing for this podcast, the goal became to inform you the listener, in a way you are not really going to get elsewhere on these teams. I mean you are going to hear about Geno vs. Muffet, about Skylar, the Schimmels and Layshia Clarendon and Cal being the newbie to the Final Four.

Who better than to discuss the teams, the players, and the coaches, than their adversaries: the coaches who play against them in the regular season and conference tournaments. The coaches that game plan against them, watch them on film, break them down on both ends of the court, year after year.

So that is what we have for you today.

Doug Bruno of DePaul breaks down the three Big East teams, and Kevin McGuff of Washington breaks down Cal.

Basically thinks 'New Uconn' is a totally different team and picks them win. (Geno loyalty at work here in all likelihood.) Predicts a final score in the 80's or even 90's. Says both teams have numerous offensive weapons even though they each play stellar defense.

Worth a listen.

Meant to add Doug also had a great coach's take on what Stewie may have gone through during the season. He calls it "Freshman Overload" and his explanation makes total sense.

Tough for me to believe the score will be in the 80s or 90s. Both teams play good defense and making shots is more difficult on the biggest stage.
