The panel this week is:

Stephanie White, a newcomer to the roundtable, from ESPN and assistant coach of the Indiana Fever
Christy Winters-Scott, ESPN analyst and a Final Four participant the last time all four number ones made it
Mel Greenberg, the guru of women’s basketball journalists
Shimmy Gray-Miller, former Division I head coach
Doug Feinberg, head of women’s basketball coverage for the Associated Press

We discuss:

Who will cut down the nets?

Can Stanford stop Griner and Sims, and can Baylor stop the Ogwumike sisters?

Are the sisters the best front court duo in women’s basketball history?

Is this Geno Auriemma’s best coaching job, going from a star-based system with Maya Moore to a total team effort this year?

Is this 2001 revisited, with Connecticut beating Notre Dame in the Big East final, only to be defeated by the Irish in the Final Four?

When you play four times, what can you do differently?

How do you defend Skylar Diggins and how do you keep Natalie Novosel away from the foul line?

Can you please discuss that if this is true how Geno is not in the running for COY?

We recorded in advance, so I'm sorry, it's too late to discuss that.

On a personal note, I don't see how he shouldn't be on the COY lists.
